Job Description

For one of our partners, we are looking for a Technical Property Supervisor.

Duties

As Technical Property Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a number of office buildings and residential housing units. You also provide technical support to the other teams at various stages of project development.

From your responsibility over buildings in the existing patrimony, you take on the following tasks, among others:

  • You regularly visit the buildings and act as the first point of contact for the tenants.
  • You regularly check the technical installations in the buildings and you monitor the quality of service (maintenance regimes, follow-up of consumption, interventions, etc.).
  • You are responsible for the implementation (drawing up specifications and measurements, price benchmarking, negotiation, coordination, follow-up, delivery) of the works (sustainability projects, renovation projects, tenant installations, reinstatement works, etc.).
  • You have budget responsibility and follow the assignments from A to Z and this both in terms of technique and in terms of furnishing and finishing.
  • You maintain the digital archive in a well-organized manner.
  • You support the colleagues of the different teams.
  • You assist the Property team in the area of technical support, especially in the area of HVAC, electricity, plumbing, elevators, etc.
  • You provide support to the commercial departments (e.g. preparing price estimates, drawing up and elaborating furnishing works for candidate tenants, etc.).

For major new construction and renovation projects, you advise the Development team. You focus on the lot techniques and work closely with the various members of the construction team. As part of the provisional handover process, you help to check the post-intervention file with a view to a smooth handover of the file.

In the purchase process of buildings, you assess the condition of the building and the existing techniques and draw up an estimate of the costs to be expected (CAPEX) in the short and (medium) long term.

Skills & Knowledge

  • You combine a degree in industrial sciences electrical engineering preferably with experience in a similar function or in the field of maintenance services and/or project management.  Experience with building management or facility management is an asset.
  • You are a real team player and communicatively strong. You can also work autonomously, work in a disciplined and orderly manner and deliver your files and tasks within the scheduled time and budget.
  • You work problem-solving, you are flexible and stress-resistant and able to set the right priorities.
  • You have knowledge of the relevant regulations regarding technical installations; experience with BREEAM and environmental permit files is an added advantage.
  • You are familiar with preparing price estimates for renovation and fit-out works. You can work with Autocad.
  • You are fluently bilingual (N/F), you master the current MS Office packages.
