Your Mission:

The Head of Automation will spearhead a talented team dedicated to advancing the development, production, and management of sophisticated automation systems. Your pivotal role will encompass:

• Innovation and Development: Crafting comprehensive functional specifications for new systems, defining cutting-edge automation architecture, managing budgets, and synchronizing efforts across international teams for integrated solutions.
• Project Leadership: Handling client discussions, assessing impacts, orchestrating change management, and guiding project completion, including hands-on commissioning support.
• Lifecycle Oversight: Streamlining software configurations, troubleshooting, handling post-delivery modifications, and navigating the challenges of component obsolescence.
• Team Management: Directing a team of specialized automation engineers, matching resources to project demands, and liaising with the Technical Director to ensure strategic alignment.

Required Experience:

• A Master’s degree in Automation Engineering.
• At least 10 years in the realm of machine automation, preferably within a regulated field.
• Mastery of automation platforms and robotics with a proven record in complex project execution.
• Demonstrated leadership with a flair for nurturing team growth and development.
• Fluent in French and English; German is beneficial but not mandatory.
