Permanent contract | Full-time | Start ASAP | 2 days/site + 1 remote day/week

For an international industrial company operating across two Belgian sites (Antwerp and Flemish Brabant), we are looking for a Senior Payroll Officer (French/Dutch bilingual).

This is a pure payroll role focused on accuracy, compliance, deadlines and high-quality service. You will manage payroll for white-collar employees only and handle the administrative follow-up required to ensure flawless payroll processing.

Duties

  • Own the end-to-end payroll cycle for employees across both Belgian sites.
  • Prepare, validate and control salaries, bonuses, benefits and monthly variables.
  • Act as the main point of contact for payroll-related questions (employees and internal stakeholders).
  • Ensure full compliance with Belgian social law and strict deadline management.
  • Liaise with the social secretariat (SD Worx) and follow up on corrections/adjustments.
  • Deliver payroll reporting and ensure accurate data transfer to Finance/Accounting.
  • Maintain accurate payroll-related HR data (changes, absences, movements, etc.).
  • Support continuous improvement of payroll processes and data quality.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Proven payroll experience in Belgium (5+ years recommended).
  • French/Dutch bilingual (spoken and written) – mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of Belgian payroll legislation and extra-legal benefits.
  • Highly detail-oriented, discreet and reliable.
  • Comfortable with payroll tools (SD Worx) and reporting (Excel).
  • Structured, autonomous, solution-oriented mindset.

Our offer

  • Multi-site set-up: 2 days/week in Antwerp, 2 days/week in Flemish Brabant, plus 1 remote day/week.
